On Tuesday, 26 September, 2017, during Heart Week, France 3 broadcast a report on heart failure and telemedicine featuring an interview with Professor Andrès, member of the Predimed Scientific Committee, and Professor Roul, Head of the Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Unit, University Hospitals of Strasbourg.
This report reiterated that the aim of telemedicine is to enable patients to stay at home and be monitored remotely by healthcare professionals.
The technology enables the monitoring of patients with heart failure and the early detection of decompensation events.

30 June 2017 Awards

On 29 June 2017, the “Interpros de la santé” (a series of conferences and symposiums) prize was awarded to the E-care platform, represented by Professor Emmanuel Andrès, Dr Samy Tahla and Dr Mohamed Hajjam.

Telemedicine, the major focus of a workshop at the University of Haute-Alsace. As part of the E-care project, pro-active smart telemonitoring platform for patients with heart failure, the Universities of Haute-Alsace and Belfort Montbéliard organised a workshop on “Knowledge engineering and signal processing for telemedicine” that was held on Thursday 13 March 2014 from 09.00 to 17.30 at ENSISA Lumière.



28 February 2013 Events
Health and autonomy at home through digital technology Newel/Predimed was at the Village of Innovations at the Ministry of Industry on 28 February 2013 to present its E-care project. The E-care project was selected as part of the call for projects in “e-Health techniques” – The largest of the Fonds National pour la Société Numérique (French National Digital Society Fund)- ‘Investissements d’Avenir’ Programme.

The Alsation SME Newel/Predimed, in partnership with the University Hospitals of Strasbourg and CENTICH with the “Mutualité Française Anjou Mayenne”, organised a conference on 12 February 2013 at the public hospital of Strasbourg.
