About Predimed

Based in Schiltigheim, Predimed Technology offers telemedicine solutions based on innovative technologies in artificial intelligence. Our first product is E-care, the smart platform for medical monitoring in patients with chronic disease. The smart platform allows medical professionals to anticipate situations at risk of hospitalisation in order to prevent them and improve the quality of life of patients.

The result of a collaborative effort between industry professionals, scientists and doctors, the E-care platform won the Investissements d’Avenir (Investments for the Future) Programme in e-health for the development of digital services for health and autonomy in 2012, then, in 2015, received the Fondation de l’Avenir (Foundation of the Future) award. In 2017, it was awarded the InterPros prize by the French Academy of Medicine. Today, the E-care solution is provided by Predimed technology.

Over time, Predimed has developed considerable expertise in the field of telemonitoring through numerous trials with E-care.

Two-fold expertise in medicine and technology

The career of the CEO, Mohamed Hajjam:

“After completing a doctorate in Networks and Telecommunications in Strasbourg in 1989, I joined the Alcatel Group to work in the PABX and integration of TCP/IP protocols into telephone systems division. Before joining the Carrier Networking Group in Anvers to manage the development and manufacture of the first Wifi in the world ADSL routers, I led a research group in Marcoussis on the topic of Home Networking. This was the beginning of today’s Smart Homes. After this extensive industry experience, I spent 6 years working for an insurance group that has now become GENERALI running strategic telecoms projects. That enabled me to gain extensive experience in users of Telecoms tools. After that, I co-founded and managed the company NEWEL where I set up an effective management team so I could focus on large-scale missions and bringing innovative solutions in computing and e-health to market.
For 6 years, I was involved in the development of telemedicine in France through several projects, notably in collaboration with the Hospitals of Strasbourg. I gained considerable experience in the world of telemedicine through projects such as E-care, winner of the PIA 2012, that I was involved in for 3 years.
PREDIMED Technology is the result of all these years of experience acquired in the field of telemedicine.”
